Conditions
Operating conditions of printing facilities:
- Having suitable equipment to carry out one or more stages of prepress, printing, and post-printing processing following the contents of the application;
- Having a lawful license for pre-press, printing, and post-print processing;
- The owner is a Vietnamese organization or individual;
- The head is a Vietnamese citizen, lawfully residing in Vietnam and having full civil act capacity.
The procedure
Before operating, printing establishments belonging to local agencies and organizations shall pre-press, print, and post-print the products specified at Points a and c, Clause 4, Article 2 of Decree No. 60/2014/ND-CP must apply for a license to print to the Department of Information and Communications. Within 15 days from the date of receipt of a complete dossier as prescribed, the Department of Information and Communications must issue a permit, clearly stating the operation contents suitable to the printing establishment’s equipment, in case of refusal The license must have a written reply clearly stating the reason.
The dossier
- An application form for a license to print (according to the form)
- A certified copy or a copy enclosed with the original for comparison of one of the business registration certificates, business registration certificates, investment certificates, tax registration certificates, decisions establishment of printing establishments for public non-business printing establishments.
- Curriculum vitae of the head of the establishment printed according to the prescribed form.
