Documents to be provided
- The contractor’s business registration certificate (Consular legalization);
- The tender contract between the Investor/main contractor and foreign contractor (translated into Vietnamese and notarized);
- Passport of the legal representative of the Contractor;
- Passport of the Project Director;
- Decision approving the project investment policy;
- Construction permits for foreign contractors are granted by the Ministry of Construction/Department of Construction of the province or city where the project is implemented;
- Decision on appointment of Project Director (consular legalization and translation into Vietnamese);
- Authorization letter (consular legalization and translation into Vietnamese).
Note: For the Decision to appoint the Project Manager and the Letter of Authorization, if the Client cannot provide it himself, Hong Bang Law will assist in drafting it for the Client to sign and seal, Hong Bang Law will assist in drafting for customers to sign and stamp, then Hong Bang Law can assist in consular legalization and notarized translation of documents into Vietnamese.
The competent authority
- For projects licensed for construction activities at the Ministry of Construction: Procedures are carried out at the Ministry of Public Security;
- For projects licensed for construction activities at the Department of Construction of the province or city: Procedures are carried out at the police station of the province or city where the project is implemented.
Time to perform
- The performed time is 3-5 working days from the date of receiving complete and valid dossiers.
