Hong Bang Law would like to provide advice and guidance on the Procedures for Registration to organize trade fairs and exhibitions in Vietnam as follows:
Legal basis
- Commercial Law 2005
- Decree 81/2018/ND-CP detailing the Commercial Law on trade promotion activities
- Joint Circular No. 07/2007/TTLT-BTM-BTC dated July 6, 2007 of the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Finance guiding the implementation of several articles on promotion and trade fairs and exhibitions regulated in Decree No. 37/2006/ND-CP dated April 4, 2006, of the Government detailing the Commercial Law on trade promotion activities.
The procedures
– Traders and organizations send registration documents to organize trade fairs and exhibitions in Vietnam to the Department of Industry and Trade
– Department of Industry and Trade considers certification for traders and organizations to register to organize trade fairs and exhibitions in Vietnam. In case of non-confirmation, a written reply must be given clearly stating the reason.
Executing subjects can carry out procedures in person or online or use postal services.
The dossiers
– 01 copy without authentication of the Certificate of Business Registration, Certificate of Investment Registration, Establishment Decision, or other decisions with equivalent legal validity as prescribed by law.
– 01 original copy of registration sheet for the organization of trade fairs and exhibitions, made according to Form HCTL-1 issued together with Joint Circular No. 07/2007/TTLT-BTM-BTC.
