Procedures for renewal of Investment registration certificates are carried out in case the project operation duration is nearing the expiration of the Enterprise registration certificate.
Time to apply for renewal
Before the project expires in about 03-05 months, the company needs to carry out procedures for the renewal of the Investment registration certificate.
Application for renewal procedures
- 02 certified copies of Investment registration certificates/ Enterprise registration certificates of enterprises;
- 02 Certified copy of tax identification number for enterprises that have not yet issued Enterprise registration certificates
- Report on the implementation of investment projects to the time of renewal of Investment registration certificates/ Extension of investment projects;
- Monthly, quarterly and annual reports submitted to the Department of Planning and Investment/ Management Board of industrial zones and export processing zones;
- 01 copy of the notified financial statements of the latest year up to the time of extension;
- Proposal of investment project: Office area, email address, phone number of investors, companies in Vietnam, total number of employees, number of Vietnamese workers, number of foreign workers;
- A certified copy of the representative’s passport, certification of residence of the representative;
- Legal documents related to the address of the head office and the location of the project. Specifically: The lease contract of the place and the land papers, construction decision.
- A notified copy of the business license (if the company operates commercially);
Number of dossier: Enterprises draft and prepare 02 sets of dossiers
Competent agency
- Department of Planning and Investment (Investment Department): For enterprises with head offices and locations for project implementation outside industrial parks;
- Management board of industrial parks and export processing: For enterprises with head office and location of project implementation in industrial zones.
Time limit for completing renewal procedures
15 working days from the date of receiving the application if the entire application is valid.
Note:
- Enterprises can only submit dossiers of extension of investment registration certificates if by the time of extension enterprises have fully contributed capital as committed and fully implemented investment reports and other conditions as prescribed in Article 3 of the investment certificate of the enterprise;
- Enterprises can make parallel adjustments to other contents on the Investment Registration Certificate along with procedures for renewal of investment registration certificates.
